Adam’s 24 year career to date, started with a Civil Engineering apprenticeship and he has a background in civil contracting, civil engineering consultancy and the public sector. He has been working on the Boston Barrier scheme since December 2014, a year after the east coast surge flooded 800 properties and businesses in the area. He has been an integral part of the client’s delivery team in ensuring the timely submission of the Outline Business Case, Full Business Case and HMT Green book financial submission as well as the Boston Barrier Transport and Works Act Order 2017 application (TWAO).
He has led on the delivery of the main legal agreements with all key stakeholders and with his communication’s team on local community engagement prior to and during a Public Inquiry in 2017.
Adam is continuing through the delivery phase of the scheme, maintaining a corporate continuity on the project to ensure that this Environment Agency priority scheme delivers 5% of the national target for 300,000 homes better protected by March 2021.
