Smart water buffers made from fully circular stone wool

With underground Rockflow water attenuation and infiltration systems, we quickly capture rainwater during cloudbursts. The dense fibre structure of stone wool filters runoff water, ensuring cleaner groundwater and surface water. And by returning the captured water to the ground through infiltration, the natural water cycle in the city is restored.

In The Netherlands, ROCKWOOL Rainwater Systems, in conjunction with local authorities, is using stonewool to decouple surface water from combined sewer networks.  The solution is ready for implementation in the United Kingdom to relieve pressure (& capital cost) in piped networks and at treatment works and combined sewer overflows.

The principal product in the system, manufactured by ROCKWOOL, is fully recyclable.
